S5497 & B5022 Project: Daughter Needs Shorts!

My daughter wakes up and proceeds to get dressed for the day and realizes she has no shorts to put on. So, what does the daughter of a terrific, most savvy, creative, wonderful, …ok ok, so what does her mother do? She sews to the rescue! I used Simplicity 5497 to make her two of the three pairs and used Butterick 5022 for one pair. I have sewn both patterns before, so that makes these shorts very easy to put together. I won’t blabber along about them because they are quite to the point and she has worn all three already and two pairs she kept changing throughout one day. I think she was trying to see which pair she liked most.
